MY JOURNEY
From the time I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the natural world, especially the ocean and the incredible creatures that call it home. Sea turtles, in particular, sparked a lifelong fascination and a deep sense of responsibility within me to protect what is wild and vulnerable.
After graduating college, I worked in the renewable energy industry for 10 years. During this time, I became an experienced photographer, honing in on my skills in sales and cinema as the pull towards my calling in conservation grew.
When I lost my job in 2023, I knew it was time to make the switch. It was during this time that I was encouraged to apply to grad school at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and in February of 2024, while driving on a eucalyptus lined road in Byron Bay, Australia, I received the offer letter that changed the trajectory of my life.
In June of 2025, I earned my Master of Advanced Studies in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation. It was during this time that I embarked on a capstone project that would change everything: filming a documentary on the first sea turtle conservation program in San Pancho, Mexico.
What began as a film about a 30-year grassroots effort to protect nesting sea turtles quickly became something more — a merging of my two greatest passions: conservation and storytelling. Out of that experience, Wild Path Productions was born.
Through powerful, cinematic storytelling, my goal is to bring the stories of conservation to life and to shine a light on the people and places fighting to protect our blue planet. I hope to inspire the awareness and action we so urgently need.
This is just the beginning of the path — and it’s a wild one.
